In Pilates exercise serie for the lower back we use four kinds of Pilates exercises to regain a strong lower back. We loosen, strengthen, relax and stabilize the lower back and pelvic area. We will try to find the right posture for the whole back and search for abdominal support. Training both the back muscles and the abs is vital in gaining lower back strength. Don’t do this serie when you have a (lower back) injury.
Pilates class for lower back pain 1h and 18 min
This is a Pilates class for lower back pain or for lower back pain prevention. We take it very easy and focus on minimal movements. It helps to loosen the lower back area and thereby reduces lower back tension and lower back pain. We also do very light exercises to strengthen the abdominals and the lower back muscles. This is a great class if you have too much tension in the muscles. Don’t do this class if you hava a (lower back) injury.
Lower back (mild pain and strenght) routine 16 min
This is a Pilates exercise routine for mild lower back pain, for lower back pain prevention and for strengthening the lower back. It’s focussed on strengthening the abs, softening the spine and loosening the joints and muscles that affect the lower back. From different angles we target the lower back area. We strengthen the legs, look out for posture, use ab and plevic stabilization and work with small movements for loosening. This routine can be done everyday and is only 5 min in it’s most basic form (1 round). Don’t do this class if you have a (lower back) injury.
